GALPERTI - TECH FORGED PRODUCTS

GALPERTI TECH’s scope of the supply are forged products, in house designed, manufactured and tested slew bearings, geared rings and other that fit in a broad range of applications.
Common line is all products GALPERTI TECH manufactures are forged or forged and rolled steel parts.
GALPERTI TECH can supply turn-key finished parts starting from steel billet, continuous cast, ingot or linear rolled bar.

In the marine applications GALPERTI TECH supplies various forged parts as tees, wyes, spools, clamps, blocks, fittings, pipes and many other pipeline accessories, completing the products set with large bearings for mooring systems as hose reels on which our custom designed and manufactured swivel joints are assembled, swivel stacks, offshore carousels for cable laying and winches for mooring and subsea applications, etc.; harbor cranes, ship cranes, offshore cranes and azimuth thrusters, gangways.

GALPERTI TECH can design, calculate, build and certify 3.1, 3.2 with certification Authorities (ABS, BV, LR, DNV, RMRS, CCS, etc.) a broad range of oil and gas, marine, industrial and defense applications. GALPERTI TECH has an extensive experience in handling Design Approvals and Product Certificates

In the defense applications GALPERTI TECH supplies at bearings for azimuth and elevation for cannon turrets for ships and ground vehicles, for mobile and stationary radars and for rocket launchers.

In the industrial applications GALPERTI TECH supplies a broad range as bottle filling machines, bottle molding, off-highway machines, boring/piling, forestry machines, civil works. Further applications are robotics, machining – turning, milling, grinding, welding, cutting and many more.

More industrial applications served are bearings for rotary furnaces, electric arc furnaces, ladle turrets, ladle cranes, scrap cranes, stacker reclaimers, bucket wheels, shiploaders and ship unloaders.

In the onshore lifting applications we supply for truck and all-terrain cranes, crawler cranes and tower cranes.
GALPERTI TECH is developing as a natural package completion the manufacturing of pinions, male and female.
Stiffening flanges and non-circular shaped special forged products are in the scope of supply.

ALPERTI GROUP produces the forged and heat treated rings by quench and temper of the rough forged and rolled blanks.
GALPERTI TECH has in operation an additional heat treatment shop to quench and temper forged parts.

The seamless forged pipes, shaft or long products upper limit is 16.000 mm length and 700 mm outer dia.

Products

  • Slew bearings and forged and rolled rings, geared and non-geared. Pinions, male and female.
  • The forged and rolled ring sizes can range from 250 mm to 7 000 mm OD which is also the manufactured range of slew bearings and geared rings.
  • Larger diameter geared rings will be manufactured as segmented rings.
  • Forged parts as tees, wyes, spools, clamps, blocks, fittings, pipes and many other pipeline accessories.
  • Bogey Wheel, Racks are some other forged products we can supplied.

Service

  • GALPERTI TECH can design, calculate, build and certify 3.1, 3.2 with certification Authorities (ABS, BV, LR, DNV, RMRS, CCS, etc.)
  • GALPERTI TECH facility includes also a laboratory to perform in house the materials qualification tests: tensile and Charpy impact test at different temperatures, hardness test.
